Aberystwyth Pier Starlings roosting.Oil A4.

I Have cropped this one again, its more about the fizzy texture the flock against the silky soft waves, its more as intended originally. Might paint this again, more flock required.

Thanks Rob, I think starlings roosting under Aberystwyth pier are a regular well known phenomenon, see web, not too far from you too, and maybe you could pick up a honey ice cream on the way in Aberaeron.

Oh but I do love the dark ones Simon, it's just that I love the light ones as well! And I think the light ones present different challenges that you handle really well. Yes, this does give a feel for typical British seaside haunts where not everything in the garden is rosy! The birds are almost like a warning. Good one Simon.
