Stairs Light, oil on card 4inches by 3 inches.

Similar pallette to last, I liked the
ordinary mundane nature of the subject matter.

Have been browsing your work Simon. Just love that warm glow you achieve in your paintings. Really good. Makes me think of childhood and long-ago days,
Marjorie

Thanks Teresa, yes youve got the point in one, dificult to paint the ordinary and mundane without getting boring. Saw your "path" painting last night really nice.

These dark interiors suck you in. Love 'em, Simon.

Thanks Sheila, cheque is in the post, no, look forward to the painting. I think I should experiment with your limited palette to get more gravitas, my colours tend too much towards the Christmas card look.

Beautiful painting Simon - you have a gift for seeing beauty in the mundane and then communicating it others -bravo
