Winter Landscape Dryslwyn, Acrylic 11" wide Plein Air.


Dryslwyn Castle in the Towy valley (Wales) is such a brilliant place to paint from. Panoramic 360 views, so you can chose best sun setting for time of day etc.

Colours and mood of these just great Simon. I like that preponderance on mid-tone too. The surf one looks amazing now you have blown up the digi pics but my favourite is this most recent one. It has a richness and depth. Makes me think of the vast landscapes of Paul Nash.

Thanks Barbara, maybe too many colours, there was a king of red in the trees that I didnt really go for in a subtle enough way.
