Interesting, I like the topsy turvyness is the house really like this? It's lovely as a painting

Incredible moody painting Simon!

It's important to not try to work out what the different parts of the painting"are". I like it even with not knowing. Like the texture in the foreground. Is that oil pastel?

Thanks Lorena, well its like this in my head, a lot of image processing goes on between the retina and the perception, maybe This is a painting before the tabloid editors inside my head can turn it into a cliche?

Thanks Masmoulin, thanks for coming back, I have neglected the blog for a while.

Liz, thanks, also thanks for bothering to visit this long neglected blog.

Hi Sheila, I agree, I reckon I can tell a good painting from a thumbnail, its all oil paint.

This looks for all the world like something luminous seen in a sidelong glance from a speeding car. I'm afraid if I look twice, it will be gone. Very nice, Simon.

Thanks Don, seems like a return to the "ideas" paintings is better received, than my foray into picturesque views for galleries, maybe I will try the ideas views in the gallery.
Suppose paintings with meaning are better received by artists.

Wonderful tippy feel and then, too, how important the space of the in between is!
