Its amazing what you notice once the image is scanned and appears on the screen. This again has been cropped, a lot, and flipped horizontally. Don't know why flipping it improves it, maybe because we read left to right, would other cultures judge the flip differently? Maybe I shouldn't try to explain what I was trying to do, it reduces it all to a recipe, its the taste I want to convey.
Well its a sort of bored Sunday afternoon thing, living next to a road where, nothing ever happens and you are prepared to look for meaning in anything, even a car that drives past and the sound fades slowly to nothing. Sounds really boring put like that, but I think there is a kind of intensity to extreme non events.................time for my medication.

Simon good to see your paintings again! They have such beautiful articulate hints of light just beyond the shadows. Not boring at all when you take your brush to it! r.
Loneliness is a feeling translatable to painting ....

Thanks for the comment Rahina, yes thats sort of the crux of it, if you can draw the eye into the shadows and persuade it that theres indistinct forms to see, then its kind of analogous to convincing the viewer to see beyond surface reality.
Hi Cardesin, well I prefer the word solitude to loneliness, loneliness is kind of a frothy state, solitude implies a drilling down beneath appearances.
I am Vicente Herrero, artist Spanish painter .Por a link, have seen your blog, I like much the intimacy of the topics and the diversity of skills, very controlled at all time.
Congratulation, and pardon for my English, is of a program translator.
Thanks for dropping by, your painting is a lot more profesional than mine.
