Rapunzel like, a Welsh legend. Like the way you let the water colour handle itself at just the right spots.

Thanks Mark.

Thanks Sheila, didnt really intend the fairy tale look, but it is apparent, have already ruined this with another wash to try and aid the composition, think I will now attack it with some pastey acrylic..it just feels so lame.

Wonderful watercolour Simon - it does have a kind of ethereal look to it.

ya Simon, I like it too. Shame that you feel you've ruined it with an extra wash...but you have the skill to save it I'm sure. it's a charmer.

Thanks Bri, the playfullness and the quality of light probably came in the last wash, the wash that ties it all together, the wash that cures most ills in a balm of golden bullshit... no its kind of like magic fairy dust.

Thanks Bri, the playfulness and the light probably came in the last wash, the golden wash that hides a multitude of sins, the wash that cures with bullshit... no not really

Thanks Sally, interesting you say its got charm, its got a kind of naturalness because its a watercolour, also any self concious bits can be melted away in the final "magic wash".
