It's important to not try to work out what the different parts of the painting"are". I like it even with not knowing. Like the texture in the foreground. Is that oil pastel?
Thanks Lorena, well its like this in my head, a lot of image processing goes on between the retina and the perception, maybe This is a painting before the tabloid editors inside my head can turn it into a cliche?
This looks for all the world like something luminous seen in a sidelong glance from a speeding car. I'm afraid if I look twice, it will be gone. Very nice, Simon.
Thanks Don, seems like a return to the "ideas" paintings is better received, than my foray into picturesque views for galleries, maybe I will try the ideas views in the gallery. Suppose paintings with meaning are better received by artists.

Thanks Masmoulin, thanks for coming back, I have neglected the blog for a while.
Liz, thanks, also thanks for bothering to visit this long neglected blog.
Hi Sheila, I agree, I reckon I can tell a good painting from a thumbnail, its all oil paint.

Wonderful tippy feel and then, too, how important the space of the in between is!
