5 Minute Watercolour Sky Sunny.

Basic fast sunny sky, plus a bit of landscape.

Magic Cloud: Watercolour plein air, 11" wide.

Again This needs to be seen BIG, its really twee seen small.

Again this painting done from one of my favourite locations Dryslwyn castle in the Towy Valley, 360 degree blockbuster views.

Storm Thistles: watercolour Plein air 10" wide

This needs to be seen BIG, its really twee seen small.
Had a stormy couple of painting sessions over the weekend. Very nice it was too.

Winter Dinefwr Castle 8" wide Acrylic Plein Air.

Winter Landscape Dryslwyn, Acrylic 11" wide Plein Air.

Dryslwyn Castle in the Towy valley (Wales) is such a brilliant place to paint from. Panoramic 360 views, so you can chose best sun setting for time of day etc.

Winter Sun Dryslwyn Castle, Acrylic 10" wide.Plein Air.

Very freely done on the spot,

"Surf" Plein Air and studio, acrylic, 14 inches wide.

Again this should really be viewed large to get it.

This painting is about a month old, finally got round to uploading it.

Evening Towy

Plein air and studio, acrylic on card 11.5 " wide.
Was happy with the mix of colours in this, this painting moved considerably from its beginnings, tried to wrestle with the foreground vs background centre of intrest. ends up kinda soft and harmonious.

Sunshine shower Llandyffeisant

Plein air and studio Acrylic on card 13.5" wide.

Sat in the rain, you dont normally get an excuse to sit in the rain, I need to sit in the rain more often.

Bend in River Towy

Plein Air and studio, Acrylic on card, 10 3/4 " wide.

Liked the way the river falls splat on the landscape like a wet fish.

Rocket Gothic. St Davids Cathedral.

Plein air and studio, acrylic on card. 29 cms wide. Wanted building to look organic and dynamic.

Dinefwr Castle Sunset, Acrylic on card 42 cms wide, plein air and studio.

Fairly pleased with this, but feel there are too many colours going on, heck I should give up on being tasteful.
Again this should be seen full sized to get it.

Nolton Haven Breezy, Acrylic on card 42 cms wide. Pein Air and studio.

Nearly got blown off the edge of the cliff.

Sunset Dinefwr park, Acrylic on card , 24 cms wide, Plein air and Studio.

Cloudburst Towy Valley.Plein air and studio, 43cms wide, acrylic.

Looks a bit frenetic, again it needs to be seen large to get all the textural brushstrokes.

Dryslwyn Castle path.

Acrylic on card 30 cms wide, part plein air, again this needs to be seen large, to see the brush strokes, which are a major part of the intention.
